March 14, 2008 – Successful IT training specialist Fast Lane reaped record results in the fourth consecutive financial year again doubling revenues and growth. Particularly, the combination of high-end trainings and consulting services as well as the high specialization level in the future technologies such as storage networking, security, or unified communications contributed to the successful development.
Fast Lane recorded a growth of 104 percent altogether in financial year 2007. „As expected we have again been able to experience a strong plus in revenue and earnings in the past financial year“, says Torsten Poels, Senior Vice President & General Manager Europe, Americas & Japan at Fast Lane. „With revenues reaching double digit millions we have steadily continued on the growth path we announced before. We are also heading for 100 percent revenue growth in 2008. Our activities currently extend over 41 countries, distributed over all continents. We will keep on extending this network while aiming at expanding it this year to a total of 50 countries”, adds Torsten Poels.
Future Prospect 2008
IT infrastructures are getting ever more complex thus increasing the demand for ever more specialized and qualified skilled labor with required expertise in the challenging networking technologies area. Further educating the responsible employees is, therefore, an essential part within the total strategy of enterprises and for their ultimate success. Focussing on current market requirements Fast Lane will continue in 2008 to expand and update its comprehensive training offering including qualification and certification programs in the high-end area. Thus, the Storage/Data Center offering will be expanded this year, amongst others, and the course offering in the unified communications area will be extended. Additionally, Fast Lane continuously invests in the labs infrastructure. The Cisco Learning Solutions partner, for example, is currently installing a Cisco TelePresence lab in its Frankfurt training center. Furthermore, Fast Lane continuously extends its worldwide scope of activities with a ubiquitous offering based on new strategic partnerships, cooperation, and training centers.
